Application Instructions
CLEAN THE SURFACE: Ensure that your wooden board is clean and free from any food particles or debris. Wash the board with mild dish soap and warm water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Allow the board to air dry completely before proceeding.
APPLY A SMALL AMOUNT: Using a clean, dry cloth or paper towel, take a small amount of board butter and apply it to the surface of the wooden board. Start with a thin layer to avoid over-application. You can always add more if needed.
SPREAD EVENLY: Gently rub the board butter into the wood using circular motions. Make sure to cover the entire surface, including the edges. The warmth from your hands will help the butter spread and penetrate the wood.
LET IT ABSORB: Allow the board butter to sit on the surface for a few hours or overnight. This gives the wood ample time to absorb the nourishing blend of our board butter.
BUFF EXCESS: After the absorption period, use a clean, dry cloth to gently buff the board. This helps remove any excess board butter that hasn't been absorbed into the wood, leaving behind a smooth, polished finish.
REPEAT AS NEEDED: Depending on the condition of your wooden board, you can repeat the process every few weeks or as needed. If the board appears dry or lacks the desired sheen, it's a good time to reapply the board butter.
